Description

General Description: Arora Engineers, LLC. provides design and construction services for MEP, fire protection and alarms, and low voltage/special systems for aviation, transportation, educational, and commercial and institutional facilities.

Overall Responsibility: This role will be involved in projects with our Planning and Design Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage division's sourcing capabilities and supply chain.
  • Responsible for strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors to acquire the best value/most cost-effective deals.
  • Manages division's purchasing including issuance of Master Service Agreements, notices to proceed, purchase orders, and task orders.
  • Supporting overall project management office with contract related duties.
  • Vetting and onboarding of prospective vendors and subcontractors.
  • Supporting client proposal/bid efforts with subcontractor/vendor related activity.
  • Supervision of procurement/supply staff in office/remote/field.
Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with United States Postal Service Facilities Technical Group
  • 7+ years' experience in the contracting field with DoD, DHS, FEMA and USACE, including management of cost-reimbursement-type contracts with contract values of at least $1,000,000.00.
  • 7 + years of project related work with procurement, subcontractor invoices, etc.
  • Develop performance risk ratings of contractors and evaluation of cost and pricing data.
  • Prior project management/procurement experience.
  • Experience in invoicing for cradle to grave contract administration.
  • Working knowledge of Department of Labor (DOL)/ Service Contract Act Knowledge/Davis Bacon Act.
  • Works well under in a fast-paced environment and able to handle change in priorities.
  • Strong administrative, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle.
  • 10 % Travel is assigned with this role - The response time could be within 24-48 hours of disaster.
  • Thorough understanding of FAR, DFAR, and FTA regulations preferred.
  • Disaster/Emergency Response, Logistics/Dispatch experience preferred.
  • FEMA ICS and NIMS certifications preferred.
