The Role:We're looking to hire a well-organized events specialist who is passionate about planning memorable events. This role sits within the Demand Activation - Field Marketing team, and is responsible for working on all aspects of events including managing event logistics, registration, tracking deadlines and deliverables, vendor/agency management, reporting and other aspects of event planning.

About the Role
In this opportunity as Marketer, Field Marketing, you will:

  • Develop and deliver creative, modern marketing programs and events to engage our customer and prospect base.
  • Orchestrate field marketing programs by collaborating closely with the segment campaign planning and centralized marketing teams to plan, execute and report on event ROI.
  • Utilize strong project management skills to deliver programs and events on time. Be accountable for end-to-end management of field marketing and virtual event programs.
  • Build meaningful customer experiences that allow clients and prospects to interact and build relationships with our sales and client management teams that lead to new business.
  • Join forces with sales to manage and report on event ROI including the management of events leads and work closely with marketing insights to understand pipeline impact.
  • Leverage internal event coordination support and external partners including vendors and agencies.
  • Closely collaborate with the Campaign Planning & Marketing Strategy teams in development, delivery and performance measurement of field marketing campaigns and programs.
  • Follow project templates to complete tasks and keep events well organized - as well as adept existing process with best practices and put your fingerprint on event planning to gain greater efficiency.
  • Work cross-functionally across the field marketing team to coordinate broader initiatives outside of your dedicated territory.
  • Be bold - experiment with creative ideas to differentiate the Thomson Reuters brand


About You
You're a fit for the role of Marketer, Field Marketing Activation if your background includes:

  • 2-3+ years in event or demand generation for cloud-based software and/or business service providers
  • Baseline understanding and highly enthusiastic about leveraging marketing technology to deploy integrated events and campaigns (Marketing Automation Platforms, Digital Analytics tools, Webinar and events tools, CRM systems)
  • Creative, customer-first mindset that prioritizes creating memorable experiences for our customer base.
  • Self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative atmosphere
  • Team player with the ability to foster strong relationships across multiple levels and functions within the organization - including working closely with marketing, sales and operations teams to succeed and grow.
  • Be a supportive, collaborative member of the field marketing team by mentoring other marketers within the team.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks, solve problems, and be adaptable.
  • Understanding of modern B2B demand generation best practices including integrating online and offline marketing tactics to reach, connect and convert prospects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and related operating/productivity tools
