Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to ensure materials are released according to schedules
  • Monitor usage of production materials to ensure optimal production levels
  • Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory
  • Support issues regarding quality in production
  • Manage performance metrics in support or creation of KPI's
  • Manage deadlines based on schedule expectations
  • Operate in close partnership with, and provide updates to the planning, purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, and quality teams
  • Apply lessons-learned to develop and implementprocess creation andimprovement initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field with 2 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with Bill of Materials, Logistics and Supply Chain
  • Technical certifications such as an APICS (CSCP or CPIM) a plus
  • Proven work experience with SAP, or similar ERP
  • Previous experience in Manufacturing, preferably with capital equipment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with high attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders within the organization at a high-level of professionalism
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including a demonstrated ability to clearly provide written reports that identify and quantify risk as well as present sound solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite software




Physical Requirements

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
