Job Description

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has a position available for a limited-term, part-time ESG implementation support intern starting in May/June 2024 and ending in August/September 2024. The hours for this position could vary weekly from 10 to 30, and potentially sometimes 40.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with project managers, Core Sustainability and Resilience Team (CSRT) and other relevant parties to understand what is possible, practical and meaningful to quantify for the project
  • Collecting required information to calculate the impacts and report out on this information
  • Conducting supporting research and use cases for suggested reporting metrics
  • Assisting with identification of additional project information to be collected that makes the impact reporting more substantial and accurate
  • Helping to identify additional training for project managers to collect the necessary information

The successful candidate must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in carbon quantification, sustainability, environmental science, ecology or related field.

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

  • Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Coursework pertaining to carbon quantification
  • Understanding of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) & TCFD (Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures)
  • Previous relevant internship experience

Hourly Wage starts at $19.00 and up - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
