Job Description

SUMMARY

The QHSE Project Manager supports Avetta clients and contractor/supplier members throughout the pre-qualification and audit process. This is a project-based role that focuses on enhancing the QHSE Products, Programs, Procedures, and Requirements while staying up to date on industry trends and regulations.

The QHSE Project Manager works under the supervision of the Manager, QHSE Operational Excellence and is assigned projects supporting continual growth and improvement of the Audit Products for the Avetta Supply Chain Management system.

If residing within commutable distance to our office in Lehi, Dallas, or Houston, a hybrid schedule would be offered (3 days in office, 2 days work from home). Candidates within commutable distance are preferred, but those outside of an office area may be considered.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The QHSE Professional, Operational Excellence will support the optimization of Avetta's QHSE Auditing experience
  • Lead projects that support, development, optimization, and training initiatives
  • Responsible for ensuring methods and processes are in place to keep the organization up to date on global QHSE regulatory updates
  • Travel associated with this position can be expected between 10-15% depending on Client Demand/Departmental needs

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

2. May be required to attend training, meetings, or seminars.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • QHSE Experience
  • Project Management Experience
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain a positive attitude and promote professionalism
  • Enforce conformance with Avetta Policies and Audit Protocols
  • Support continued growth and learning across the QHSE Team
  • Knowledge and understanding of OSHA and other Regulatory Agencies (EPA, MSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, ANSI, ISO, etc.)
  • QHSE Certification are a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Project management tools (Wrike, Confluence, etc.)
  • Analytics experience (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Industry & Field QHSE Experience
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Bi-lingual proficiency a plus
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-Motivated, Proactive
  • Knowledge of sales, customer service and business development to integrate concepts and theories
  • Ability to integrate and communicate information on a one-on-one basis as well as in group situations
  • Ability to interact with staff, members, and others encountered while performing daily work

METRICS THAT MATTER:

  • Audit Production efficiencies to support annual growth projections (Audit Feature Releases on-time; initiating new processes, forms and workflows; Advancement of the Avetta Audit Product offerings)
  • Avetta System issues identified by audit team or support team are ticketed within 2 hours and tracked to completion to minimize impact on customer service
  • QHSE system or regulatory training/coaching delivered as required
  • Project deadlines established, tracked, and completed on schedule
