Description
Opportunity to evaluate and characterize a wide range of devices and systems, such as servers, electronic, electrical, electro-mechanical systems in the data center and data center infrastructure. Analyze data and report on performance metrics of the evaluated system. Perform failure analysis down to board level components and suggest corrective actions. Evaluate overall design by crafting and conducting evaluation tests; applying knowledge of engineering fundamentals. You may be working on assignments that are team based, cross functional based, or individual contributor focused.
Education & Experience
BS in Engineering or greater, plus min of 7 years of technical work experience

Key Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in prototype work and functional verification specifically with servers, electronics, electro-mechanical devices and systems.
- Shown analytical, data analysis and problem-solving abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate results.
- Proficient with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power analyzers, data loggers, digital multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, programmable power supplies, air flow gauges, microscopes, and more.
- Shown to develop evaluation plans and develop or modify automation software and scripts for measurement data collection and analysis - Setup of environments optimized for test measurement.
- Prior experience with coding/scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell, Unix) and ability to post process and analyze collected data.
- Prior experience with Device Reliability and Failure Analysis to component level, HASS, HALT, lifetime calculations and working with suppliers for root cause and corrective acton using 8D process.
