YOU

As an EasyFrame Field Technician, you will provide new customer installations of the EasyFrame Saw and software at lumber yards, EWP distributors, wall panel manufacturers, and truss facilities throughout the United States.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING(% of Time)

Train under and support Senior and Lead Field Technicians during EasyFrame Saw installations at new and existing customer locations. (70%)

Plan and coordinate upcoming EasyFrame Installations. Organize travel plans with Senior and Lead Field Technicians. Own the organization of the installation kit utilizing the standard inventory list ensuring any job specific tools and parts are included and kit is on location ready for installation. (10%)

Work with EasyFrame production leads to coordinate quality control discussions related to saw delivery and installation processes. (10%)

Work with Production team at EasyFrame assembly facilities to understand product changes and the effect they may have on install process. Follow Quality Control processes to enhance EasyFrame knowledge. (10%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Technical certification preferred.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on technical machinery experience preferred.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents including architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Knowledge of regional building practices and general understanding of design, fabrication and engineering desired.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, see, talk, and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally push or lift to 50 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in both a professional office environment, customer sites and outdoor construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. The noise level may be loud at times.

Travel

This position requires domestic and international travel up to 60% of the time.

Pay

$64,850.00 - $73,300.00 / year
