Your Responsibilities:

Instructional Excellence: Prepare engaging lesson plans, effectively utilize learning management systems, and objectively assess student performance.

Student Interaction: Create a nurturing classroom environment, provide feedback, support student development, and maintain accurate records.

Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest instructional methodologies, attend workshops, and actively engage in ongoing professional development.

Additional Contributions: Beyond the classroom, you'll participate in campus activities, events and meetings, assist with maintenance of an orderly classroom and lab, and contribute to a positive campus culture.

Your Qualifications:

* Must hold an active and unencumbered VN or RN license to practice nursing in the state of employment
o Must have an active RN license to teach all courses
o Must have an active VN license to teach clinical term 1 classes only.
* Minimum of 3 years of practical nursing experience
* Minimum of an Associates degree in nursing is required; Bachelors strongly preferred.
o Bachelors degree in nursing is required to teach all theory and clinical courses.
o Associates degree can teach clinical term 1 courses only.
* Must be actively employed in nursing 2 of the last 3 years.
o If candidate has not been actively employed in nursing in the past 3 years, then advanced preparation in nursing, nursing education, nursing administration and prior relevant nursing employment may be taken into consideration in evaluating the qualifications for the position.
* Must meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications.
* Must meet approval of Board of Nursing.
* Previous experience teaching nursing students preferred.
