You will be joining a leading training program in our Capital Markets organization. Focused on creating a pathway to becoming a broker, our development program focuses on gaining deep expertise in all aspects of a capital markets commercial real estate deal.

What You'll Be Doing...

As a Capital Markets Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work with teams that are focused on the sale, financing and recapitalization of all major real estate product types including office, retail, industrial, and multifamily properties, as well as other specialty and alternative products throughout the Americas. We will teach you how to become a trusted advisor to our clients, and you will be trained by one of the premier commercial real estate firms in the world.

If you are interested in some or all the following activities, this is the role for you:

  • Working closely with premier industry experts on investment presentations and financial analysis best practices and methodologies
  • Assisting broker teams in underwriting for asset sales and debt placement across all property types
  • Preparing valuation models using a discounted cash flow analyses and excel-based financial models with consideration of market conditions (both current and historical)in industry-wide tools such as Argus
  • Conducting market research to analyze property and market conditions; synthesize findings in a clear, concise manner
  • Leveraging a variety of research tools to understand and analyze the market dynamics, trends, and overall real estate opportunities
  • Participating in client interactions to gain exposure with key executives
  • Identifying client needs, prioritizing pain points, and collaborating on tailored solutions
  • Conducting audits of existing financial models for accuracy of model inputs and validity of assumptions
  • Reviewing contractual tenant leases to abstract key economic and non-economic data points leveraged to underwrite investment cash flows
  • Developing high-level analysis summaries by identifying transaction considerations (strengths/weaknesses), trends, outliers, and logical inconsistencies
  • Coordinating collection and review of due diligence materials, identifying data gaps required to complete an investment analysis
  • Learning to remain resilient in an aggressive and competitive environment
