Responsibilities
SIMULIA Technical Resource (presales) in North America focusing on Energy and Materials, Infrastructure and Cities and Industrial Equipment.
* Contribute to the achievement of the North America Region software and services targets though efficient and disciplined technical sales execution.
* Drive the technical sales process within accounts to scope, architect, and deliver technical solutions that provide value to DS customers.
* Obtain and promote technical expertise and knowledge to inspire, enable and empower the DS ecosystem.
* Engage Geo and Brand sales and technical resources to identify, track, and communicate sales opportunities.
* Work with Client Executives and SIMULIA sales representatives on account strategic growth initiatives.
* Perform prospect needs assessments, architect solutions and generate high-value solution proposals.
* Effectively communicate the SIMULIA solution value and technology; via presentation, demonstrations and technical proof of concepts.
* Deliver technical proof of concept and training to demonstrate the solution.
Qualifications
* Must have a minimum of 5+ years of industrial experience with geomechanics simulation/reservoir engineering, geochemistry in a large corporation; preferably with focus on CCUS applications
* Experienced with CAE analysis on technologies like finite element analysis, process automation
* Knowledge of complete, end to end industry workflows (from modeling to post-processing)
* Experience working with oil & gas operators/service providers
* Experience with performing simulations using Abaqus, ANSYS, Nastran, Dyna, CATIA Analysis, or other commercial FEA simulation packages.
* Experience with pre/post processing software like Abaqus/CAE, Hypermesh, Skua-GOCAD, Solidworks and similar
* Experience with one or more of the disciplines; AI/ML, DOE, Optimization, Stochastics, and Six Sigma.
* Experience with programming languages such as Java, JSP, JavaScript, Jython, Python, MQL, HTML, XML, Tcl, C++, etc
Skills
* Master's degree (minimum requirement) in Mechanical/Civil Engineering discipline, working within oil & gas industry.
* Ability to work well under deadline and customer requirements.
* Ability to work effectively and efficiently as a member of a team and individually.
* Demonstrated problem solving skills illustrating the ability to create solutions to complex engineering challenges
* Motivated, goal driven, diligent, detailed oriented, and organized
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and comfortable discussing technical issues with others of varying levels of IT and engineering knowledge and experience.
