Summary

Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Superintendent with Data Center experience to join our Large Projects Group in Dallas. The Superintendent is responsible for all field operations, including the coordination of subcontractors' work and all field activities associated with the project. This includes ultimate responsibility for implementation of the Safety/Zero Harm program for the job site and supervision of all field construction work by subcontractors and self-performed work. The Superintendent responsibility with the project manager for developing the project budget, actively participating in the preconstruction phase, and ensuring that the project is built on time, within budget, and according to company policies and procedures. This individual manages and mentors assistant superintendents and other field personnel.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 10 years or more of commercial construction field experience.
  • Experience working on multiple data center projects.
  • Must have been a Superintendent on one or more job-sites.
  • Five years or more of direct supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).
  • Ability to use Blue Beam
  • Ability to read plans and specs.
  • Scheduling experience sequence using software application.

Preferred Experience

  • 5-10 years of Data Center construction experience.
  • Local qualified candidates encouraged to apply.
