Position Title: Treasury Management Sales Manager - Leading a team for Community Bank

What The Role is:

Position is responsible for leading and motivating a team of Treasury Management Sales Officers who are based throughout Cadence Banks footprint. Expertise in ensuring first class client service is delivered, driving high performance from the team while adhering to risk andcompliance procedures and enhancing revenue into the business. Treasury Management Regional Officer is responsible for coaching, training, mentoring and developing the team to achieve excellence, developing sales plans and setting sales targets. Provide direction to team members, accountable for the results of own work and that of assigned Treasury Management Sales Officers. Treasury Management Regional Sales Manager is also responsible for creating, implementing and managing unified sales strategies and goals throughout assigned region. Must maintain the ability to make qualified decisions.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Provide day-to-day pipeline management for TM Sales Officers including guidance on pricing, proposals, selling techniques and skills
  • Create and manage a unified approach to sale of treasury management products markets
  • Review formal presentations and proposals to be presented to customer/prospect as needed
  • Present formal presentation to customer/prospect in a consultative manner when needed
  • Set sales strategy and develop tactics to implement the strategy for TM Sales Team
  • Partner with product management to ensure quality products that meet revenue goals and customers expectations
  • Partner with TM Sales Support to ensure implementations and on-going customer support are in line with sales goals
  • Create and maintain a loyal consultant role in customer/prospects/employees
  • Be seen as a value added partner with line of business partners
  • Continually increase product knowledge of products as they evolve
  • Assist in new product development and in merger activities
  • Possess a positive, proactive and energetic attitude
  • Ensure the Treasury Management department reaches all goals
  • Achieve growth by coaching TM Sales Officers/Assistants staff, monitoring performance and providing recognition and rewards
  • Assist direct line supervisor in long range planning, budgeting and strategic direction
  • Develop new business with a designated portfolio of community bank prospects and clients
  • Collaborate with bank officers to cross-sell bank's treasury management products
  • Manage a growing portfolio of treasury management clients
  • Understand the client's business environments, strategies, and industry to provide the best solution for their situation
  • Provide technical and operational support to bank officers and customers
  • Promote and support all treasury management products as well as other bank products
  • Manage sales process and complete/present proposals, request for proposals, proformas, and analysis for customers and prospects
  • Responsible for the sale of treasury management solutions to new clients and retention of current client relationships
  • Support the bank's strong relationship banking culture through on-going customer contact, quality customer service, and superior product knowledge
  • Collect competitive product and pricing information
  • Attend and participate in officers meetings throughout territory as assigned
  • Assist manager in long range planning, budgeting and strategic direction
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Who You are:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or five - seven years of TM experience, or the equivalent of education and professional TM experience.
  • Experience managing a professional sales staff
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must possess strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to travel, including overnight
  • Capability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel using diplomacy
  • Proven track record in customer development and retention
  • Excellent organizational and negotiation skills
