Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director, Healthcare Tech Management, the Medical Systems Technician (MST) is responsible to perform evaluations, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on devices used in the care and treatment of patients at UHS facilities, affiliates, and other institutions that have relationships either owned or contractual. Focus performance ensures that all patients receive the safest and best possible experience while at the facilities serviced by the UHS HTM Program. Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, nurses, technicians, administrators and all persons who are contacted during the course of their service. Deliver service that meets and exceeds all regulatory requirements and compliance for the position held. Assist UHS HTM leadership with developing and strengthening facility and vendor relationships. Responsible for executing and meeting all requirements of the established key performance indicators (KPI's).


Qualifications

Technical School, two-year college, Associate's Degree preferred.

Prefer previous experience with healthcare technology management programs

Current state Driver's License and appropriate auto insurance required.

Experience with healthcare technology management programs. Medical equipment knowledge (manufacturers, models, modalities, capital planning, etc.). Understanding of regulatory requirements of medical devices (CMS, TJC, CLIA, AABB, NRC, State, Local). Advanced/Strong computer skills (proficient with Microsoft products), experience with CMMS products. Strong planning and organization skills. Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written with all customers.
