As a Senior Graphic Designer at The Topps Company, you will be responsible for developing print designs for our trading card and collectibles brands, leading projects under the supervision of our art directors, and mentoring junior designers to ensure quality work and cohesive product design. Whether generating fresh concepts or working within a fixed style guide, you will leverage a keen eye and polished skillset to ensure every product meets the highest quality standards.
What you will do...
  • Collaborate directly with art directors to establish a brand identify and coherent visual style for each project.
  • Acquire intimate knowledge of the print technology for each release, recognizing the balance between aesthetic requirements, cost budgeting and technical efficiencies on press.
  • Create new product design and layout concepts as well as skillfully incorporate direction from art directors and implement feedback from product stakeholders.
  • Display mastery of layout, typography and color theory.
  • Ensure that creative deliverables support the project briefs and are completed on schedule.
  • Make certain that creative output adheres to brand style guides and requirements.
Who you are...
  • An accomplished professional with 3 - 5 years of related experience in graphic design.
  • An expert in each of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Knowledgeable in prepress workflows, including designing and prepping files for print.
  • Experienced working in CMYK color space and using spot colors in print.
  • A proficient multitasker with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous deadlines.
  • A strong collaborator in possession of exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Creative, innovative, efficient and organized.
