An Entry Level Diesel Mechanic at SET Environmental is responsible to:

An Entry Level Diesel Mechanic at SET Environmental is responsible to:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on trucks, tractor-trailers, small engine equipment and hydro-blasting equipment
- Perform annual inspections in compliance with Company, State and Federal regulations
- Schedule, track and update maintenance records per DOT and Company requirements
- Manage shop safety and cleanliness
- Request replacement parts, supplies and tools
- Perform building maintenance as needed
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as needed/required
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- 3 years of related maintenance work
- Class B CDL or ability to obtain; Class A CDL preferred
- Good driving record
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to work with basic hand tools
- Excellent organizational skills
- Welding and electrical abilities
- Candidate must be a self-starter who can work both independently and in a team environment
- Basic computer skills (MS Office Suite, e-mail, etc.)
