Description:

Position Summary:

The Bimbo Bakeries USA Co-Op program is a dynamic 5-month, paid, opportunity that affords students a remarkable experience to participate in fast-paced real world projects designed to further develop strategic project management, analytical problem solving, and managerial leadership skills. Mentors will be designated to guide student collaborations and project work in each area. Students will be exposed to a variety of functional areas such as sales, distribution, and sales planning while earning college credits in various locations nationwide. The students will gain valuable experience and transferrable skills.

  • This is an opportunity to join BBU's newest business unit, Acelerada: a group that is focused on fast-paced future growth for the organization. We are biased towards action, experimenting constantly to learn and define our future actions in the forward-looking eCommerce grocery space.
  • This Co-Op employee would have the ability to work cross functionally and have direct hands-on experience with new digital shelf analytic tools (Clavis Insight) as well as gain experience with building and managing customer relationships.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • This assignment will be centered on accessing and interpreting sales data for our brick and mortar eCommerce accounts (i.e. click-and-collect accounts.) The co-op would be challenged in finding a way to automate our current manual data pulls from the retailer to help build a better picture of total channel sales.
  • This opportunity will also include an investigation into SEO terms and methodology to increase our online search ranking and share of e-retailer's pages through the use of a digital shelf analytics platform (Clavis Insight).

Education and Work History:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Communications, or related area of study.
  • Must be willing to work various shifts and over time as needed.
  • Must possess strong leadership, computer, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data.
  • Understanding of project management process.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and business trends.
  • The ability to help the transformation team throughout the sales organization to achieve the goals.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a challenging environment.
  • Ability to travel as business needs require.
