Job Description

Perform engineering activities to support the reliability of assigned plants. This includes plant operation support, modifications, plant modeling and performance calculations, and maintenance activities on larger scope than the facilities are equipped to perform.
Position Accountabilities - Supports plant operation - Root cause assessments, troubleshooting, and corrective action plans - Mass and Energy balances - P&ID review - Equipment specification assessments - Process automation and control - Coordinate technical service providers and vendors - Performs engineering assessments - productivity and efficiency (6 sigma, process design, mechanical efficiency, etc) - quality control (FMEA, root cause, etc) - engineering safety (hazop, C&E, root cause, etc) - Support engineering Management of Changes processes - Manage engineering projects - Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. - Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. - Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. - Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client. - Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards. - Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. - Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. - Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis. - Manages project budget. - Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project. - Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.

Ability to research, select and negotiate purchases for suitable plant equipment Ability to reads and interpret technical drawings and manuals Statistical and analytical skills. Clean driving record.
Required Experience

Bachelor Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Prepare Project planning utilizing Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software. Strong understanding of Safety Practices and policies for the Industrial Gas Industry Strong understanding of Air Separation Principles Strong understanding of compressors, pumps and expanders Strong understanding of electrical motors, electrical power distribution and electrical safety.
