Job Description:

Utilizes knowledge of operational and manufacturing principles and machine skills to set up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines and equipment used in the production of complex Company products, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Responsible for operating manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, adjusting calibrating programs or systems on the machine, and pulling finished product from the line. Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances. Promptly and accurately completes all required recordkeeping. Performs machine maintenance and keeps machine and surrounding area clean, safe and organized. Develops and recommends new methods to improve machine processes. May require ability to read and understand machine programming such as CNC code. Basic knowledge of the job. Applies acquired job skills and procedures to complete assigned tasks. Semi routine tasks and recognizes the occasional need to deviate from standard practice. Requires instructions on new tasks and general supervision. Typically requires a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience.
