Overview

FamiliesFirst Network provides foster care, adoption and child welfare services in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties. The nonprofit's specialized team is passionate about helping abused and neglected children and their families. Position Summary:

Assist the Child Welfare Case Managers by providing basic social services to children and/or families in need including transportation for clients, clerical assistance, tracking information and assessment and education services.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • One (1) year experience in social, economic, health or rehabilitative setting, medical, nursing, child development or child care setting; OR one (1) year of post high school in education social services, economic, health, rehabilitative, medical or child care services may be substituted for the year of experience required; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside, good driving record, and insurable under Center's policy.
