Project Executive - Heavy Industrial Job Summary:

This role is responsible for the knowledge, integrity, and delivery of outcomes associated with a Heavy Industrial Project. This individual leads the project's operations and financial teams through the development and execution phases of the project by setting expectations, aligning resources, monitoring, and influencing results to achieve a successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Knows the Structure: Defines the team structure based on the project specific needs and evolves the structure throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • Provides Expertise: Utilizes operational, safety, financial, and constructability expertise and resources to guide the project decision-making processes.
  • Manages Relationships: Owns the client relationship from beginning to end ensuring the team's delivery on client satisfaction and client experience.
  • Manages Partnerships: Owns any associated joint venture partnership(s) and the operational outcomes associated with the stated contractual agreement.
  • Creates Solutions: Influences decisions both externally (with the client, 3rd parties, etc.) and internally (with the project team) to achieve solutions.
  • Steers the Ship: Provides guidance during scheduled occasions with the Construction Executive and key project leadership, including the Senior Project Manager, Construction Manager, Engineering Manager, and Facility Manager to ensure project success.
  • Engages Company Leadership: Leads the monthly progress occasions with the Regional Operations Lead as well as other key company and regional leadership on all matters relevant to the project, its progress, and forecasted results.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of construction project management experience
  • Project Specific Experience:
    • Complex, large-scale $300M+ projects
    • Industrial/manufacturing projects
  • Concrete experience is preferred
  • Experience leading 20+ person team
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required
