Senior Graphic Designer

Job Summary:

The Senior Graphic Designer will take ownership of the brands, as well as the conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion. This includes working to enhance and develop the company's use of both print and digital designs. Works with stakeholders to ascertain needs and to direct graphic directions, concepts and specifications for assigned projects.

Working with the Creative Director and both internal and external support resources, this role will ensure that the design team promotes the vision of the company through high-quality graphic design content.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Print and digital design for projects including brand identity, digital advertising media, social media graphics, event and trade show marketing, sponsorships, private label, product catalogs, in-branch materials and in-house communication needs

• Work with Digital on email marketing & digital communications including banner ads, website graphics, and landing pages

• Art Directs promotional brand and product creative

• Photography and video concepting, production and editing for both internal and external usage

• Program branding and logo development and execution

• Ensures brand consistency throughout various marketing projects

• Works with marketing team to proactively determine the needs of customers

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Strong portfolio of design projects

• Experience implementing marketing design throughout multiple platforms

• Works well with tight deadlines in a team environment

• Strong creative, organizational, problem solving and time-management skills

• Good interpersonal communication skills and aptitude for cultivating strong working relationships

• Excellent organizational, planning, presentation, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills

• Creative, open-minded and enthusiastic about seeking new solutions to challenges

• Expert knowledge in graphic production process

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and motion graphics

• Microsoft Office

Experience & Education

• Four year related degree and a minimum of 5 years design experience in an in-house creative department or design firm

• Experience in a corporate marketing support environment is a plus

• Experience working with B2B building, landscape, and pool supplies a plus
