SUMMARY 

This position is the leader of a selling team comprised of Account Managers-THD over multiple states. This leader is accountable for achieving sales and budget goals in Andersen and Storm Doors. This role provides direction and leadership to Account Managers-THD and working closely with various delivery partners in The Home Depot Group, Area and Regional sales leaders, and various functions across the Enterprise and The Home Depot.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sales Facilitation: Achieve sales goal through coaching and developing Account Managers -THD. Activities include: business plan review/prioritization, sales strategy development (e.g., selling, relationship building facilitation, sales activities, minimizing competitive losses), and budgeting. They also provide field sales knowledge to internal Andersen delivery partners.
  • Sales Completion: Drive revenue by assisting Account Managers -THD with closing opportunities, assist in building relationships among The Home Depot, Pro Customers, and consumers.
  • Pre-Sales: Set expectations and motivate sales team to achieve goals, manage and measure sales performance to plan, and collaborate and solve complex problems. Develop and mentor Account Managers - THD to sell portfolio of products based on customer need, value and provide solutions to The Home Depot.
  • Engaged Selling: Assist in the development of customer solutions, resolve customer issues and Home Depot disputes.  Leverage internal resources to further sales opportunities and maintain ongoing relationships with The Home Depot.
  • Provides leadership for Andersen's internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while practicing and remaining committed to Andersen's set of Values and Beliefs. Prioritizes effectively and in accordance with corporate objectives.
  • Leads the Account Managers -THD, inclusive of managing performance, coaching, mentoring, safety expectations, hiring, and career development. Establishes an environment and foundation for future sales growth. Recruits and hires talent capable of taking on roles of greater responsibility. 
  • Responsible for the Region's budget, sales tracking and project completion.
  • Sets the sales objectives for the Region and develops a business plan with strategies to achieve the objectives. Evaluates the industry market and gathers competitive information to identify trends that may affect current and future growth. 


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 
  • 4 year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience in sales (preferably in a leadership position).  5 years combined retail experience.  Proven track record of success in a retail environment.
  • Experience with client relationship management (CRM) software/Salesforce preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving business success in terms of measurable sales, executing strategies, and budget results.
  • Robust communication skills required to ensure coordination of and translating customer requirement to internal delivery partners and persuading account stakeholders to pursue mutually beneficial business strategies.
  • Articulate, understand and deliver strategic corporate and product messages.
  • Ability to train, develop and mentor. Highly organized and detail oriented and demonstrates strong relationship management skills.
  • Execute effective negotiation skills and is strategic and analytical.
  • Excellent presentation skills.

SALARY INFORMATION:  

The midpoint of the compensation is 150,000.00 plus bonus incentives. Based on experience the rate can change.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. In addition to your pay, Andersen Corporation currently offers benefits such as comprehensive health benefits, 401k contribution, paid time off, 8 paid standard holidays, plus 2 floating holidays, a robust employee Wellbeing program, as well as profit sharing (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
