Job Summary: The Equipment Health & Productivity Manager supports customers, across all industries, by maximizing the owning and operating capabilities of their equipment after purchase. The incumbent and their team will utilize equipment data, site productivity data, application information, oil samples, inspections, and past work order data to consult directly with customers on equipment management, fleet planning, and equipment utilization strategies. This role will consolidate the value-add offerings from Holt's Product Support team to ensure that Holt employees and customers are aware of and taking advantage of the many resources we have to ensure ease of doing business, equipment uptime, and health.

The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

Essential Functions:

  • Hires, develops, evaluates, and influences effective and consistent productivity and teamwork to ensure the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS)
  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
  • Leads a team of equipment health professionals providing support services which improves operational effectiveness and maximizes the time and service capabilities of customer facing resources
  • Consults with customers on equipment application and utilization
  • Partners with internal stakeholders (sales, customer insights, etc.) to refine customer solutions ensuring a high level of consistency within each product support division
  • Aligns Holt strategies by working with Caterpillar on continued enhanced solutions
  • Delivers centralized product support functions in a manner which provides consistent, enterprise-wide support improving customer support goals
  • Develops, monitors, promotes, and implement strategic business plans to maintain internal client communication and support
  • Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of industry equipment health and productivity standards (fuel burn, idle time, material moved, etc.)
  • Knowledge of safe work policies, procedures, and practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and networking skills
  • Exceptional skills required in solid problem solving, planning, organization, time management and analysis
  • Ability to understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  • Computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite software
  • Ability to understand team dynamics to support and interact with others and several divisions of the organization
  • Ability to understand multiple datasets and deliver insights to customers
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Data Analysis, Business required
  • 5 years of successful experience in product support or a related field preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and development; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Travel:

  • Travel up to 50%

Physical Requirements:

  • This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.
  • This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines

Work Environment:

  • Works primarily in an office environment
  • Frequently works at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
