Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the implementation of continuous improvement systems and RCCA
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Engineering
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Plan for Every Part process
- Working knowledge of FAA regulations about supplier OEM processes and products
- Must be able to read and interpret average to moderately complex blueprints, drawings, diagrams, tolerance information, route sheets, work orders, and procedure manuals.
- Knowledge of AS9100 requirements
- Must be able to generate written communication, operate office equipment, and read and review written communication.
- Speech and hearing abilities allow individuals to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
- Ability to solve moderately complex problems and think strategically.
- Perform work under direct supervision.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be able to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to take the initiative, accept responsibility, adaptability-flexibility, work under pressure, autonomy, creativity, and leadership.
- Acts by company values and related competencies.
- Six Sigma Lean fundamentals, or Green Belt certification.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
- This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment.
- Finger dexterity is needed in using miscellaneous office equipment such as telephones, computers, and copy machines.
- Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting to approximately twenty pounds are during tasks related to the job.
- The work environment includes an office setting with moderate office noise.
