AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer Intern to be based in Chicago, IL.
This position is expected to begin in June, 2023.
Job Summary/Responsibilities
* Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
* Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study* Intern 2 - completion of second year of qualified study
QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* In US: Must have completed one year of study;
in Canada: high school student or secondary school student, focus on Structural (Transportation).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint* Basic knowledge of CADD and industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation)
* Strong organizational, technical and communication skills.* Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
