    Overview

    Summary

    The Solutions Architect provides pre-sales support of product offerings and solution designs in product area of focus e.g. Genesys, etc. This position must be able to assess customer needs and tailor customized solutions moderate to complex in nature to fit business needs. The Solutions Architect must be well versed in all market offerings in the identified area of expertise in order to fully meet customer expectations. The Solutions Architect works closely with the account team to ensure technical accuracy of the solution design during the entire lifecycle of the solution sale. Additionally, this position must be able to justify costs related to design, implementation and training.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions

    • Serves as the subject matter expert in solutions of product focus e.g. Genesys
    • Provides solution consulting, technical and sales support for account opportunities
    • Analyzes customer needs, issues and interests to formulate a strategy that will achieve business objectives
    • Provides live demonstrations for customers and sales teams
    • Develops and maintains technical competency for all core products of C1’s solutions for product area of focus
    • Provides Customer facing presentations to customers, users groups, and conferences as required
    • Keeps current on industry changes, participates when possible in organizations directly involved with SME products and services, and continually works to improve sales techniques and sales knowledge
    • Works independently and as a team member with national account managers, major account support representatives, marketing, services, and purchasing to achieve company major business objectives
    • Keeps advised on company policies, procedures, and objectives, clarifying them with a Manager when questions arise; is always prepared to accurately discuss these policies with our customers
    • Works directly with key customer personnel to identify, establish, and communicate key performance indicators needed to meet customer requirements
    • Assures tactical and strategic delivery of services to the enterprise in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner
    • Creates, reviews and/or evaluates technical business scopes of work
    • Works with clients to facilitate their understanding of best practices for a VoIP telephony solution
    • Prepares technical designs using manufacturer design tools for product area of focus

    Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provides required scoping documentation for product area of focus deployments (required server specifications, operating systems specifications, etc.)
    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • 5+ years technical or operational experience
    • Formal education in Software Engineering, Networking and/or Telecommunication on a bachelor level or equivalent based on job experience
    • Proficient at all Microsoft Office products; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint
    • Strong experience in gathering and analyzing business drivers as it relates to designing solutions for product area of focus
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Exceptional customer facing skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent relationship and collaboration skills
    • VoIP software design and implementation experience
    • Certifications or equivalent experience in product area of focus
    • Subject matter expertise related to SIP, Virtualization and/or Cloud Services
    • Ability to work independently with minimal direction but resulting in a satisfied resolution for the client
    • Able to manage multiple simultaneous work assignments
    • Ability to communicate with all levels in customers and partners, and bridge the gap between business users and information technology
    • Accustomed to working in virtual office environment

    Desired/Preferred Qualifications

    • 5+ years' experience with the product suite

    Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
