Our approach to pain treatment is a multidisciplinary approach. This means that there are multiple specialists involved in the treatment of pain disorders. These include pain physicians, anesthesiologists, psychiatrists, surgeons, chiropractors, nursing specialists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and others. Many of these specialists require inputs into the care of a patient with complex painful conditions and disorders, which generally is a continuum of symptoms and pathology. We treat each patient as an individual with a specifically designed care plan. For each individual our care is a continuum from simplest of care without any invasive procedures to more complex interventions. We try to treat the patient with a minimum of what is required for maximum recovery. This has been shown, in our experience and practice to be most cost-effective as well as successful. That is to do the least, which is required for any pain patient suffering from any pain condition. More complex and invasive procedures are utilized in the care of our patients if they become necessary. Our practice is broad in treatment of all painful disorders/conditions. We can treat all types of pain conditions such as recurrent intractable headaches, neck, back and spinal disc pain and spinal discs. |
